I love it! I really see the resemblance of Puck to Aladdin. Maybe you can make him a little more Peter Pan-ish. I don't know how I feel about him being so buff. He should definitively be blond. I really like Oberon!! He is legit! Great work :D
Emily, any thoughts on the women? Do you like how they turned out? I'm not sure if you could tell, but I kindof wanted to do this almost like face paint makeup around their eyes... but only on the women and Oberon because they're all royal/noble. Not on Puck. I was thinking of doing Titania with lots of blues and pinks for her clothing/makeup, (what color should her hair be?) and doing Oberon in lots of green and maybe some purple. Ortegia I was going to do with reds & maybe some dark oranges (and have her hair be like an auburn color). Puck I figured would be muted greens & browns, as he is a servant. Oberon & Puck both will have dragonfly wings, obviously, and the girls will have butterfly wings. The resemblance to Aladdin for Puck wasn't quite as intentional as it appears. I'm thinking maybe I'll change his outfit a little... But I really liked the vest idea. I was kindof thinking more along the lines of Sinbad, if you've ever seen that Dreamworks film. Any suggestions for his outfit? I think the Peter Pan outfit specifically might look a little funny, but maybe if we did a spinoff of it... Anyway, I'm going to color/detail the others, and maybe start some of the designs for posters and put them up too! Everyone PLEASE comment and let me know what you think/want!!!!! Thank you!
Also, I really like Oberon's picture too because he's holding the potion. Hehe. I'm going to do a couple more concept art pieces with each of the characters doing something I think.
